Error Number Description Course of Action
1072 The specified service has been marked for deletion. Stop the service. You may receive error no. 2185—ignore it. This happens if the uninstall program was run while the service was running.
1073 Service already exists. Uninstall the existing service before installing GoodTech Telnet Server.
1314 A required privilege is not held by the client. Ensure the telnet service logs in using the system account. The system account has the necessary privileges.
1326 Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password. Verify the user entered the correct login information or ensure the user has an account on the host or domain.
1385 Logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer. Grant the "Log on locally" permission to all users, including domain users, where the telnet server is running.
2185 Attempt to start/stop a service not configured on this system. Ensure the telnet service is installed and configured correctly. If attempting to stop the service, it may already be deleted.
3521 Attempt to stop a service that was not started. Ensure the telnet service is running before attempting to stop it.
